CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES

Ropes Course
Every camper attending Cloverleaf Camp will have the opportunity to participate in one of the best Ropes Course in the South Metro Atlanta Area. Campers will be climbing the Climbing Wall and zipping down the fast paced Zip Line! The Ropes Course is also and excellent team building opportunity for the campers.

Herpetology
Students get the opportunity to handle, observe, and learn about reptiles and amphibians.  Characteristics and adaptations of snakes, turtles, lizards, frogs, and more will be discussed.  Many of the misconceptions about these beneficial, but often misunderstood, animals will also be dispelled.

Pond Ecology

Students will use nets to identify common organisms found in the Fortson Pond.  Aquatic organisms as well as characteristics of ponds will be discussed through exploration and hands-on activities.  Students will need to bring old shoes that can get wet and muddy, NO FLIP FLOPS!.

Archery

In this class students will be introduced to some basic archery skills (safety, history, and shooting technique).  After going over the history, types of bows, and safety, students will use what they have learned to use compound bows on the archery range.

White Water
Dive into a Travel Channel Top 10 Water Park. With 50 amazing attractions, there's so much to do here. Enjoy Cliffhanger's 90-foot free-fall, the turbulent Tornado, and great family areas, like Little Squirt's Island and Atlanta Ocean wave pool. For more information go to

Stone Mountain
We will enjoy a chicken dinner and then settle down to watch the Laser Show. For more information go to:

Thursday Night Thunder
Campers will go to the Atlanta Motor Speedway to watch the Thursday Night Thunder races. Thursday Night Thunder is a smorgasbord of games, contests, giveaways and hot on-track racing excitement. There are different themed nights where campers can dress up to the different theme of the week. For more information go to www.atlantamotorspeedway.com

Wet Games (If permitted by drought)
After spending the days in the hot Georgia sun, campers will participate in wet games. These games will promote team building and lots of fun. Campers will need shoes that can get wet. If we are not able to have wet games, other field activities will be held.
